Betway Bets of the Day — It’s time for Connor McDavid to have a Connor McDavid game

Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!

Our first bet of the day will be taking Connor McDavid to score 3+ points. These odds sit at +162.

We’re taking a swing on this one here, and that’s by and large because we haven’t really seen a McDavid game yet this season. You know what I mean — one of those games where McDavid does silly things scores a ton of points, and helps carry the Oilers to victory. He and his linemates on the Oilers’ top line don’t have the best matchup on the slate, but that never matters for him.

He’s played in 13 games against the Flyers in his career, scoring 10 goals and 25 points while cashing this prop thrice. Let’s see what he can get up to tonight.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Connor Bedard to take o3.5 SOG. These odds sit at -167.

Bedard’s shot prop has been a license to print money so far this year, as he’s cashed this in all four NHL games he’s played thus far. While he may not have the greatest matchup against the Colorado Avalanche, the truth is the same could be said for games against the Toronto Maple Leafs, whom he had four shots against, and the Boston Bruins, whom he had six shots against.

Simply put: I see a Bedard shot prop, I bet on the Bedard shot prop.

Our third bet of the day will be taking Tyler Seguin to score 1+ point. These odds sit at -125.

Seguin and his linemates on the Dallas Stars’ second line have the best matchup on the entire slate taking on a bad Anaheim Ducks team. Seguin himself has a point in two games so far this season, but dating back to his last 30 games, he’s scored 1.9 points per hour at 5×5. While he may not get power play time on the top unit, one that dominates 70 percent of the man-advantage ice-time, I still like this spot tonight.
