#NationVacation presented by AMA Travel: We’re going to Las Vegas and you’re all invited

4 years agoWould you love the opportunity to go to Las Vegas, watch some hockey, and party with your favourite Internet friends? Of course you would. That’s why we’ve partnered up with our friends at AMA Travel to pack a plane full of Nation citizens and make our way down to Vegas to get out of the cold and watch our boys do battle. It’s a Tier 1 trip for Tier 2 pricing!
If there’s anything we know better than anyone, it’s how dedicated Nation citizens are to watching the team we love despite the many years of horrifying results. With a new season nearly upon us and the Kool-Aid levels properly restored, we knew we wanted to head back to Vegas for another round of hockey-related shenanigans and to give everyone an excuse for a quick mid-winter vacay. When we did this trip last year, we had an incredible time in spite of the trying 2018-19 season and there was no way that we weren’t going to make round 2 happen. So when the schedule came out in late June, we got to work and started putting the details together for what will surely be another ridiculous #NationVacation.
If you’ve never been on a Nation trip before, I strongly encourage you to make this Vegas getaway your first. Not only will you be surrounded by some of the finest Internet folks that you could ever hope to meet, but you’ll also be watching the game from the incredible party patio at the game, an area that includes free food and booze. Amazing, right? Absolutely it is. But before we even get to the game against Vegas, we’ll be throwing a viewing party the night we arrive for the matchup against Anaheim so that we can all get together and spend a little time hanging out and solving the world’s problems.
Basically, what I’m telling you is that this will be a mid-February getaway that you will not forget and we can’t wait to get down there.

- When: On Tuesday, February 25th, we’re jumping on an Air Canada flight at the Edmonton International Airport and flying to Vegas. On Thursday evening, we’ll fly back from Vegas to Edmonton. Thanks to our friends at Park 2 Go, everyone will be able to park for free while we’re away.
- Where we’re staying: After landing, we’ll jump on the free shuttle and check into New York New York and settle in for a good night’s sleep. 😉
- How Much: The total cost for the trip, flight, hotel, and entry included – $949 per person (based on double occupancy) or $400 non-refundable deposit up front with the balance due by November 15th.

Much like the last year, the trip is going to sell out quickly so you’ll want to get your spot locked in as soon as possible. It isn’t very often you get the opportunity to head down to Vegas with all your Nation pals at a price this good!
