Oilers at Canucks – Game Day Road Report – with David Quadrelli

David Quadrelli is inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver where the Oilers will be taking on the Vancouver Canucks tonight! He was joined by Kevin Woodley of InGoal Magazine to discuss the matchup tonight and whether or not the Oilers can get a second straight solid start from Mikko Koskinen!

The Oilers got bailed out by their goalie over the weekend against Calgary, which is not something they’ve been able to say a lot recently. Koskinen stopped over 40 shots for just the second time this season. Kevin Woodley is one of the premier goaltending analysts in hockey and he gave his take on not just Mikko Koskinen, but the Oilers overall! They also hit on the Canucks, who have regressed since the crazy run they went on when Bruce Boudreau was hired. They’re just 4-4-2 in their last ten games, have struggled to score, and are going to be without Thatcher Demko, who is still in COVID protocol. They still sit seventh in the Pacific, so this is a game that the Oilers should be able to win.
