The Bets of the Day is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Auston Matthews to take over 4.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -105.
Matthews, as always, is a high-volume shooter and loves to fire the puck against the Sabres. He’s taken 84 in the 19 games he’s played against them averaging 4.4 per game. This year, he’s taken 80 shots in 18 games averaging 4.2 per game, and has only hit this prop in one of his last four games and just eight of 18 this season.
That being said, the Sabres have been trading chances with teams all season long, and Matthews and his linemates are in a great spot tonight.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Dylan Larkin to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -163.
Larkin comes into tonight’s matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets leading the Red Wings in shots on goal. He’s fired 53 in 17 games this season averaging over three per game. He’s hit this prop in three of his last five games and in 11 of 17 this season.
I love this spot tonight for Larkin as the Blue Jackets have allowed 40.28 shots per hour in their last five games, the worst rate in the league.
Our third bet of the night will be taking Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to score 1+ goals. These odds sit at +300.
Connor and Leon continue to dominate the NHL and are coming off a game last Wednesday where they were both held without points. It’s a rarity. The Oilers are having an up-and-down season this year and Saturday night’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights is an important game for them.
Look for the Dynamic Duo to do their work.
Record: 41-28 (+12.59u)
