After snapping out of their four-game losing streak on Monday, the Oilers will look to wrap up their brief two-game road trip tonight with another victory as they roll into St. Louis to take on the defending Stanley Cup Champions. The Blues are red-hot right now with wins in their last three games. Not only are they getting wins, but they’re dominating play as well. They’ve held their opponent to under 30 shots on goal in each of their last three wins and have fired over 35 shots on goal in their last two games. Tonight will be another very tough test for the Oilers.

The three centre approach didn’t give the prettiest results, the Oilers got caved in the possession battle against Dallas, but they won the game and really, that’s all that matters. Dave Tippett will continue running McDavid, Draisaitl, and Nugent-Hopkins tonight. He’ll also go back to Mikko Koskinen between the pipes tonight after his exceptional performance on Monday night.
