Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars

Coming off a thrilling victory over the @Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night, the Oilers will look to keep the ball rolling this afternoon against the Dallas Stars. The Stars are coming off wins over the @Calgary Flames and @Vancouver Canucks to start their road trip and have been playing some good hockey as of late.

Both these teams have been benefiting from good goaltending this season as well. Edmonton’s tandem of @Mike Smith and @Mikko Koskinen have been one of the top duos in the league while Ben Bishop is once again playing like a Vezina calibre goaltender for the Stars. Offensively, the Oilers got a pair of historic performances from @Connor McDavid and @Leon Draisaitl in their most recent win while the Stars have gotten four points from @Joe Pavelski in their last two games.

A confident Oilers group will also have the benefit of playing a Stars team that has some key players on their injured reserve right now.
