On today’s show, we talked about the Oilers dropping Game 5, the Oilers pushing the series to a seventh game, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off this week’s podcast, we got started with a discussion about the biggest differences between games five and six, and whether the Oilers can carry some of those lessons into tomorrow’s deciding game. Whether it was getting a much better start or firing pucks from everywhere, the Oilers offered up a much better effort and were rewarded with a massive win. From there, we looked ahead at Game 7 and specifically at the line combinations. Will Woodcroft go with the 11-7 approach again or will they go back to a 12-6 configuration now that Darnell Nurse is eligible to return after serving a one-game suspension?
