NHL Free Agency is set to launch and the boys are back with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to help you make sense of what’s to come with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On today’s show, we looked at Jack Campbell coming to down, Brett Kulak testing free agency, and a whole lot more.
To kick off the Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio, we got started with a look at Ken Holland’s work in free agency and which move was his best piece of work? Whether it was Evander Kane taking a team-friendly deal, Brett Kulak sticking around for a hometown discount, or Jack Campbell getting locked in to settle things down between the pipes, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the work that Ken Holland got done so far in free agency. From there, we looked at Connor Brown going to Washington from Ottawa for a second-round pick and how disappointed we should be that the Oilers weren’t able to get the deal done. From there, we looked around the Pacific Division at how the other teams have done in free agency so far and what those moves mean for the Oilers’ chances at a division title. Lastly, we wrapped up the podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers to recap the week that was.
