Oilersnation Radio: The sky is falling, but we’re still hopeful
By baggedmilk30 days ago
As far as miserable starts to the season go, it’s hard to imagine a worse run than the Oilers have had through their first seven games. With the world imploding around us and the panic button being slammed by fans everywhere, the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio was all about trying to figure this mess out.
Kicking off the Friday episode of ONR, we got started with a delicious debate about how confident we are that the Oilers will be able to turn things around. Seeing as many pundits and fans had the Oilers labelled as Cup contenders, having only one win through the first seven games is an absolutely stunning result. We then looked at the two games that have happened since the last episode of the podcast, and it’s hard to understand how things are going so poorly. It’s like anything that can go wrong is going wrong, and the Oilers don’t look like they have any answers. We then looked ahead at the Heritage Classic that’s coming up on Sunday and what the boys need to do to ensure they’re ready to play. Needless to say, if the boys can’t get themselves motivated for this one, we will be in a whole world of hurt. Lastly, we wrapped up the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another round of Ask the Idiots, Kennedy’s quote game, and Hot and Cold performers.
