Ranking the Top Ten Moments of the Oilers Playoff Run

The 2022 playoff run for the Edmonton Oilers was an absolute blast. The team gave us countless great memories as they rolled all the way to the Western Conference and I’m here to rank the top ten moments from that wild run. There were clutch goals, big hits, and viral moments and I put them all in order as I looked back on the last few months of Oilers hockey.

Obviously, Connor McDavid was all over this list. The man came through in seemingly every clutch moment for the Oilers and it was hard to ignore the big goals that he scored. I also wanted to give some love to other players who played key roles and had big moments. I tried to mix in big goals, like the @Zach Hyman shorthanded marker in game two against the Calgary Flames, while also giving some love to moments that will stick in our brains for a long, long time like @Mike Smith’s epic return in game three against Calgary and @Evander Kane tossing up seven fingers after sealing up game six against the LA Kings. I also wanted to shout out the fans that brought it night after night throughout this run. The playoffs would not have been as much fun if we didn’t get to experience it with the best fanbase in the NHL. You can watch the video here:
