Real Life Podcast: Chalmers is either Cal Ripken Jr. or Tyler Benson

The guys are back for another episode of The Real Life Podcast with plenty to get off their chests.

They started things off by talking about some freezing-cold sports takes from the past, including some of their own. That led to some talk about the electric Oilers’ win last night and Connor McDavid hitting the 60-goal mark. Sticking with the sports calendar, they touched on the perfectly scripted finish to the World Baseball Classic and what a shame it is that we don’t get a best-on-best hockey tournament. That also brought up the Oilersnation home run derby. Jay thinks he could crush one out of ReMax Field, and Yaremchuk thinks he’s insane.

Chalmers is fully buying into playoff fever and the change in weather had him absolutely vibing. They talked about crispy patio beers and also, what homeowners should be looking for this time of year. There are just ten games to go in the regular season and then the party really starts. Sticking to the talk about the change in weather, they talked about Chalmer’s upcoming ski trip out in Jasper and what our friends at Tourism Jasper have going on right now. They also made some weekend plans live on the podcast.
