Another Monday is upon us which means it’s time for a fresh episode of the Real Life Podcast to get your week started while also helping you navigate the world around you. This week, the boys were thrilled to welcome Harnarayan Singh from Hockey Night in Punjabi to talk about his love of the game, his journey into broadcasting, and a whole lot more from his book, ‘One Game at a Time: My Journey from Small-Town Alberta to Hockey’s Biggest Stage.’

To start off the Monday episode of Real Life, the boys jumped in with a look at how they did this past weekend in the world of sports betting, including Baggedmilk bragging about how Scott Hastings from OddsShark made him some money. From there, the guys discussed how bizarre it is to be stuck in the middle of the offseason despite this normally being one of the best time of the year for sports. In a normal year, October would be the time when basically every sport would be playing games and it’s an incredible bummer to have everything shifted the way it has as a result of COVID-19. With the nonsense out of the way, the boys were thrilled to welcome Harnarayan Singh to the podcast to talk about his new book, ‘One Game at a Time: My Journey from Small-Town Alberta to Hockey’s Biggest Stage.’ From his time growing up in rural Alberta to having a goal call go viral in the Stanley Cup Finals to landing atop of the best seller’s list, Harnarayan was an amazing storyteller and it was wonderful to hear him speak about his passion for the game and the drive that led him to follow his dreams despite any barriers or hurdles that were thrown his way. Despite being so generous with his time, the interview absolutely flew by and we’re certain that it’s a conversation you need to hear. You can pick up a copy of Singh’s book here
