Real Life Podcast: Oilers rumours, Non-alcoholic beers, and Wanye’s Rexall Place memories

A new week has landed and the Real Life is back, which meant there was a whole lot to talk about on the Monday episode of the podcast.

To kick off the Monday episode of Real Life, the guys got started with a conversation about non-alcoholic beers as Jay cracked open a fresh one to kick off the show. For the parent in the room, being able to enjoy a non-alcoholic beer and feeling like you’re still part of the action, but for everyone else, it’s tough to make sense of what’s going on here. Changing gears, Wanye told a few stories from going back to Rexall Place last week after being given a media tour of the old barn. As you’ll hear, touring through Rexall Place was an extremely nostalgic experience after spending so many wild nights in that building, and Wanye was extremely grateful to experience the old rink one last time. Getting to the current version of the Oilers, the guys looked at some of the latest rumours that are surrounding the team, including their reported interest in Mattias Ekholm. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the Monday episode of Real Life with a look at tonight’s matchup versus the Bruins and how this is a major test that the Oilers have to be ready for, especially after giving away two points to the Blue Jackets on Saturday.
