Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
After dropping a huge matchup against the Golden Knights on Saturday, the Oilers absolutely have to get back in the win column if they want to maintain pace with the rest of the pack. The good news is that the boys are 3-0 against the Coyotes this season, and that makes me feel good about our chances. The bad news is that Arizona is actually pretty damned good at home and the Oilers will need to bring their A-game if they truly plan on picking up the two points. That said, the Coyotes are also playing the second half of a back-to-back set, which means our boys could have an advantage provided they find a way to get on them early. Either way, this is a must-win game for the Oilers and I’ll be doing my part with my bets to manifest the victory.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Coyotes.

Player Prop:

Leon Draisaitl to register 2+ points at -105. My $5 bet would return $9.76.

Easy Money:

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -125. My $5 bet would return $9.00.

Risky Business:

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +225. My $5 bet would return $16.25

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Edmonton over Arizona on the money line and Colorado over Anaheim on the money line at 1.86. My $5 bet would return $9.33.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

There was a lot about Saturday’s loss to the Golden Knights that still annoys me. 1) WTF, Laurent Brossoit. 2) What was Kane doing on the OT winner? 3) RAGE!
  • Connor McDavid to score one+ goal and register one+ assist at +115.
  • Over 63.5 total shots on goal at -125.
  • Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman both to register 4+ shots on goal at +240.
  • Minnesota over Chicago on the money line and Dallas over Vancouver on the money line at 2.01.
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Coyotes.
