Risky Business: Manifesting a divisional win in Seattle

On Tuesday night, the Oilers stole a win in Calgary that was not only huge for the points in the standings but also for the tiebreaker over the Flames if we need it down the line. Tonight, we’ve got our first of two meetings with the Seattle Kraken in the span of only five days, and I would love nothing more than to see our boys start off the season series on the right foot. Tied at 40 points coming into this game, Seattle has three games in hand over the Oilers and it would be really nice to see our side chip away at that potential gap with a regulation win. Seeing as Seattle is starting to come back down to earth a little bit after a very hot start, I’m feeling like this game that the Oilers simply have to win and that’s why I’ll be doing my part to manifest this win. Go big or go home. Will it pay off? Dare to dream.

Leon Draisaitl to score over 1.5 points at +110. My $5 bet would return $10.50.

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -105. My $5 bet would return $9.76.

Nashville over Anaheim on the money line and Carolina over Florida on the money line at 2.57. My $5 bet would return $12.57.

Man, am I ever glad that I decided to take a conservative route against the Flames because I got absolutely stomped on Tuesday night and it hurts me at a core level. That said, the Oilers did pick up a win in that game so it wasn’t all bad, but holy cow did I ever get killed.
