Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
When you’re as good as the Oilers are and as bad as the Ducks are, the only logical conclusion would be that Edmonton should win. That’s what I think, that’s what you the reader thinks, and it’s pretty much what everyone thinks. That said, we also know what can happen when you expect any game in the NHL to be a gimme. For the Oilers to ensure that they lock in two points, they need to make sure that they approach this game like the important one it is and avoid the trap of looking ahead at what’s to come. If the boys can play the way they have been over the last couple of months then they should have this thing in the bag, but I’m still going to do my part by betting on them to win big as a means of manifesting the result. Will it work? Dare to dream.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Ducks.

Player Prop:

Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman both to register 4+ shots at +200. My $5 bet would return $15.00.

Easy Money:

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -110. My $5 bet would return $9.54.

Risky Business:

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to register 1+ goal and 1+ assists at +220. My $5 bet would return $16.00.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Edmonton over Anaheim on the money line, New Jersey over Chicago on the money line, and Carolina over Montreal on the money line at 2.22. My $5 bet would return $11.12.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

I loved that win over the Kings so much that I almost forgot I hit my Risky Business bet of the night, giving my wallet a nice little boost ahead of tonight’s matchup with the Ducks.
  • Leon Draisaitl over 2.5 shots at -163.
  • Over 62.5 shots on goal at -118. ✅
  • Connor McDavid and Evander Kane both to score at +300. ✅
  • Tampa Bay over Washington on the money line, Carolina over Detroit on the money line, and Boston over Columbus on the money line at 2.70.
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Ducks.
