Risky Business: King for a Day

The last time we saw the Los Angeles Kings, Connor McDavid was ruining their playoff dreams with a performance for the ages. Luckily, I was at Rogers Place for that game and it was a night I will always remember so I was legitimately excited to see the Kings back on the schedule. Obviously, the stakes are different and each team has new pieces in its lineup, but with the way the Pacific Division is shaping up right now, I’ve got a feeling that we could be in for a beauty.

If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Kings:

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 total shots. My $5 bet would return $10.50.

Over 1.5 total power play goals. My $5 bet would return $9.00.

Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid both to score at +300. My $5 bet would return $20.00.

St. Louis over Chicago on the ML and Edmonton over LA on the ML at 2.65. My $5 bet would return $13.28.

It wasn’t the prettiest betting day for me but I ended up winning a few bucks and it was a fantastic start to the weekend.
