The Capilano Rehab Injury Report: Anti-Jinx Edition

It’s the article everybody loves to hate! That’s right, we have partnered up with our good friends at the Capilano Rehab Centre to bring back the weekly injury report for all you superstitious citizens to hate. However, I wanted to approach things a little bit differently this time.
For those of you that don’t know, we launched the injury report last season, and, well, the 2015-16 Oilers turned out to be the most injured Oilers team in history. It’s back now, and it’s time for us injury report haters to look the hockey gods right in the eyeball, and kindly tell them to piss off. This is OUR season, and no amount of injuries or jam-packed injury reports will change that.
This brings us to the actual injury report. Some of you say that me writing a weekly injury report has jinxed the Oilers forever, and some of you say that I suck! Well, I can’t fix the part about me sucking, but I CAN fix me jinxing the team every week. As such, this week’s edition of the injury report contains no Oilers information whatsoever. Instead, this injury report takes a look at the rest of the NHL. Take a quick glance at all these teams with injuries and quietly giggle at the fact that all of them are officially jinxed for the season.
STOP LAUGHING! But seriously, though, it’s not cool to laugh at other people being injured. There are a few injuries on this list that I honestly feel bad reporting. It’s a horrible day in the hockey world when Carey Price and Sidney Crosby can’t suit up for their respective games (*written before Price started last night). The good news is that they will both be returning to the lineups very soon. Jack Eichel is another injury we can all relate too, especially after you-know-what happened to you-know-who last year. The McDavid VS Eichel rivalry isn’t half as fun with Eichel out of the lineup.
Also, shout out to Washington and San Jose who have no injuries whatsoever in their lineup! *jinxjinxjinxjinxjinx* When you actually look at the injuries in the league as a whole, there are a tonne of them. If I’m all these players, I would pay a visit to the Capilano Rehab Centre, the best in the biz!
