The Capilano Rehab Injury Report: Jujhar Close

It was 17 days ago when Jujhar Khaira scored his first NHL goal. Two days later Jujhar Khaira skated into a corner, and skated out of it right onto the IR. It’s been just over two weeks, and we finally have a timeline for J.J’s return.
Some say Jujhar hurt his wrist, others say he hurt his upper-body. Gossip, am I right? Whatever he injured, he is getting better quickly. My super-secret, inside source had his eyes on J.J over the All-Star break and claims that he looks better than ever. Good timing, as it was recently released that Khaira will hopefully be returning shortly after the bye week, or as I like to call it, Spring Break. By the way if you’re reading this Jordan Eberle, wherever you’re going for Spring Break, take me with you!
I can’t stop thinking about Pitty’s injury and whether or not he’d be able to return for the playoffs. They say “out for the season.” But what does that mean exactly? If the playoffs begin in the middle of April and the Oilers are dare-I-say-it, in them, that would give Pitlick four full months to heal his ACL.
Alright so I just googled it and I’m being told that a torn ACL could take up to 5-9 months to heal. Let me tell you something, Google lies! Google obviously doesn’t care if Pitlick returns for the playoffs or not, jerk. If Google is right (doubtful), and my math is correct (doubtful), Pitlick could return to us as early as the Western Conference finals against Chicago. Heal quickly Tyler, cause I know a a guy on Twitter who’s been dying to lick his armpits after you score again.

As Jason Gregor reported earlier this week, Darnell Nurse has resumed skating on his own again which is great news! He is probably still a ways away from returning, but he’s definitely ahead of his original timeline, which was the second week of March. Inner-me has already taken Gregor’s notes out of context, and am now expecting him back in February sometime.
Iiro Pakarinen has been taking part in full practices and like I said a month ago, he’s REALLY close to returning. Iiro likely watches his ‘days injured’ count in my injury report go up and up every week, making it his main motivation to return asap.
