It is GAME DA… err… Wednesday here in the capital city and that means that it’s once again time for your friend Baggedmilk to jump on the Cruz FM airwaves with the folks on The Locker Room to talk Oilers and make sense of this crazy little thing called life.
There will be a new #BeetCast format this year where you fine folks will get to decide what my canned punishment meal will be after losses. The catch, however, will be that if you want me to eat something gross you have to prove you've made a donation to the Edmonton Food Bank.

To kick off this week’s appearance, we jumped in with a look at Jack Michaels being named the new voice of the Oilers on Sportsnet for regional broadcasts. Personally, I like the way Jack calls games and I think he’s going to bring a new flavour of energy to the broadcast that I’m looking forward to hearing. That’s not to say that I didn’t like Kevin Quinn, but rather that I think Jack Michaels will bring about an entirely new experience and I’ll certainly be giving him a chance. From there, we looked at the Dallas Stars having 17 players on their team test positive for COVID-19, which prompted us to take a few swings at what the NHL is planning to when this happens again. We also looked at the Carolina Hurricanes coming in and stealing Anton Forsberg from the Oilers via the waiver wire yesterday, and it’s going to be very interesting to see how this situation plays out now that their plan-C has moved on. Lastly, we finished up this week’s appearance with a look at the new #BeetCast format (shown above) where I’ll be changing up the format a little bit in an attempt to raise some money for the Edmonton Food Bank.
