Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a look at poor Jack Campbell after the guy took a puck to the face and broke his nose while sitting on the bench against the New Jersey Devils. For a guy that’s having a tough start to the season, you can’t help but feel like the Universe is against him a little bit as he just can’t seem to catch a break. That said, I also talked about why he should get the start tonight provided that he’s able to breathe with that busted beak. I mean, you can’t have the guy sitting on the bench for two weeks, can you? Changing gears, we spent a couple of minutes talking about the World Cup and how this is an event that the whole world cares about regardless of whether you like soccer or not. Whether you’re there for the competition or the spectacle, I’ve gotta admit how nice it is to have live sports to watch first thing in the morning. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with another look at the Brunch for Ben that will be happening on Saturday morning at SOHO and why this is an event that you will absolutely want to have on your calendar.
Listen to this week’s segment below:
Check me out on The Lockerroom every Wednesday around 8:45 AM MT to hear my thoughts on the Oilers and life in general.
