I know how excited you all must be that it’s Wednesday again, meaning that your ol’ pal Baggedmilk jumped on the 95.7 Cruz FM airwaves to talk a little bit about the Oilers and a whole lot about life.
To start off this week’s appearance, we jumped in with a look at The Locker Room topic of the day which revolved around the strangest place you’ve ever fallen asleep. Seeing as I like to drink from time to time, I had a weird collection of places I’ve passed out and it was unnecessarily embarrassing to have to relive those moments. Getting back to the Oilers, we broke down last night’s win over the @Chicago Blackhawks and I offered praise for the performance put forth by Leon Draisaitl, explaining that these next few weeks are his time to shine and show the league exactly how good he really is. That conversation led us into the news that broke yesterday about @Connor McDavid’s quad injury and whether or not I think that the organization is lying about its severity. Seeing as we were lied to by the organization this past summer regarding McDavid’s PCL injury, I think it’s fair for some fans to be skeptical about the messaging from Ken Holland’s press conference. Is Connor hurt worse than we’re being led to believe? Time will tell, I suppose.
