Good morning, Internet friends! After a few weeks off the air, I was back with the boys on The Lockerroom this morning to discuss all things @Edmonton Oilers, including last night’s big win over the Predators and what the hell is going on with @Matthew Tkachuk.

To kick off this week’s appearance, we jumped in with a look at last night’s win over the @Nashville Predators and how big those two points were for the Oilers at this stage of the season. Seeing as the Western Conference is as tight as it is right now, every win is important and it was undoubtedly massive that the boys could walk away from that game with a regulation win. From there, we had to look at the @Zack Kassian vs Matthew Tkachuk shenanigans that took place in Calgary over the weekend and I offered my thoughts on what it means for the rivalry moving forward. I also gave my thoughts on Flames fans putting some money together to put up a Matthew Tkachuk billboard in Edmonton while Oilers fans decided to make a legitimate difference in the community down south. I know Flames fans like to talk about Tkachuk living rent-free in our heads but I have to question that logic considering they’re literally putting billboards up while we barely think of them at all.
