Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s segment, we jumped in with a look at the Oilers’ current winning streak and whether or not fans should be getting excited about what’s going on under Jay Woodcroft. At three wins in a row, Woodcroft already seems to be making some subtle changes on the ice that are leading to wins and you can’t help but wonder how long this heater can continue. Gord knows we’re all well aware of how you never walk away from the table on a heater. From there, we looked at Mike Smith’s recent turnaround and whether he’s playing well enough to silence those of us that think the Oilers still need an upgrade in net. Changing gears entirely, we wrapped up this week’s segment with a look at the Arizona Coyotes playing on a college campus for the next few years and how the vibes in that tiny arena will probably be as fun as it gets for an NHL experience.
