<p>Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.</p>
<p>To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a look at the upcoming season and how the excitement for this year seems to be higher than ever before. Not only will the Oilers have a good team with a real chance at the Stanley Cup, but there&#8217;s also a feeling of unfinished business that adds another layer of intrigue. With only 42 days left until the season opener, the city is starting to get Oilers fever again and I cannot wait to get going. Speaking of can&#8217;t wait to get going, the Oilers announced that Sam Gagner would be <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2023/08/28/edmonton-oilers-sign-sam-gagner-to-professional-tryout/">coming back to Edmonton on a PTO</a> and that has a lot of us feeling incredibly excited. Not only is Gagner a fan favourite, but I also think he could provide a layer of leadership in the room that can only help. Seeing as this guy basically bleeds blue and orange regardless of where he&#8217;s played, cheering Sam on as he works to turn his PTO into a contract is something that we&#8217;ll all be following as training camp rolls along. Lastly, we wrapped up this week&#8217;s segment with another look at the <a href="https://nationgear.ca/products/nationvacation-1-0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">#NationVacation to Seattle</a> that&#8217;s coming up in November and how you&#8217;ll want to get your spot saved if you want to come because this thing is selling out.</p>
