<p>Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.</p>
<p>To kick off this week’s segment, we started with a chat about the building excitement in Edmonton now that the boys are in town and back on the ice. From my side of the computer screen, the excitement for a new season really ramps up once the captain&#8217;s skates kick off, which is exactly what happened earlier this week. Changing gears, we then looked at Sam Gagner&#8217;s PTO and talked about whether or not he&#8217;ll be able to turn his tryout into a contract. Personally, I think he will fill the Devin Shore role for the club, and I also believe that it&#8217;s a great fit for both him and the team. Loc also wanted to know my thoughts on their &#8220;Bring Phil Kessel to Edmonton&#8221; campaign that they&#8217;ve been running all summer, and while I absolutely think it&#8217;s funny, I highly doubt that the league&#8217;s current Ironman will end up here. Lastly, we finished up this week&#8217;s segment with a look at boxed wine after Grant and Jimmy both lost a bet with the punishment being that it&#8217;s their only available alcoholic drink for the entirety of the month.</p>
