Welcome, friends, to a sunny Wednesday morning edition of Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do each week, I jumped on the 95.7 Cruz FM airwaves to talk to the boys on The Locker Room about all things Oilers, including a look at the James Neal to Edmonton rumour that’s picked up some steam lately.
To kick off this week’s appearance, we jumped into the topic of sports gambling and whether or not I know anything about it or get drawn in by the lure of free money. Seeing as I barely understand what the odds mean to start, spending my blogging bullion on poorly educated guesses seems like a bad idea to me. From there, we got into the latest @Milan Lucic rumour that sees him heading down the highway to Calgary in exchange for @James Neal. Could this really be possible? A major trade between the Oilers and Flames? I have my doubts. Lastly, we checked in on the @William Nylander controversy after the forward announced he would be changing his jersey number from #29 to #88 which really pissed off some folks in Toronto. In my opinion, it’s a very weird summer argument to have, but here we are. Gotta love the off-season.
