Happy Wednesday, everybody, and welcome to another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s segment, we jumped in with a look at the school in the city that will be named after Joey Moss and I could not even begin to describe how much I loved this news. Joey was such a great ambassador for our city that it seemed like only a matter of time before we would be honouring him in this way, and I cannot wait to see what is yet to come. Next up, we spent a few minutes talking about the rumour that came out this week that the Oilers will be running with their dark navy blue jerseys again next season, and I explained that I don’t hate those uniforms specifically, but would rather see them wear their royal blues that are so iconic. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with a quick chat about the Montreal Canadiens and whether or not anything has changed in our feelings about wanting them to lose. Spoiler: Nothing has changed.
