Happy Wednesday, everybody, and welcome to another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in local radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about what went wrong between the Oilers and Jets, what happens next, and offered my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
Kicking off this week’s segment, we got started with a look at what went wrong in the series between the Oilers and Jets. Obviously, getting swept was the last thing that anyone expected so we spent a few minutes breaking down how the disaster happened. Personally, and I’ll maintain this, the Oilers played well enough to win at least a couple of those games but as we all know, what shows up on the spreadsheet doesn’t necessarily mean squat on the scoreboard. Regardless of where you’re at, this loss is going to make for a long offseason here in Oil Country. Lastly, we wrapped up the appearance will a look at the #BeetCast, and specifically how citizens of the Nation came through as they always do to help me raise money for the Edmonton Food Bank.
