Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s segment, we got the segment started with a chat about Ben Stelter and the public service that’s happening on Friday morning. I think it goes without saying that the entire city mourns with the Stelters and all of us on this segment were both heartbroken for them as they grieve but also thankful that they were willing to share this special young man with us. Sticking with the Oilers, we dove into the rumours that Sam Gagner could potentially be coming back to Edmonton on either a PTO or cheap contract, and that has a lot of Oilers fans feeling excited. Yet, despite wanting our boy back, would it make sense for the Oilers to chase the 33-year-old veteran? I say yes. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with one last look at the Oilersnation Open that is coming up Friday at Cat Tail Crossing and why you should absolutely enter a team to play if you haven’t already.
