Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day is on Jonathan Huberdeau to score 1+ power play point, with odds sitting at +225. This bet will be for half a unit.
Our second bet of the day is taking Yegor Sharangovich to score 1+ power play point, with odds sitting at +250. This bet will be for half a unit.
These two players have been rock solid on the power play for the Flames lately, each notching four points there in Calgary’s last 10 games. They’re taking on the Anaheim Ducks, whose penalty kill has been nothing short of horrendous. It doesn’t help that they might be the most penalized team in the league, as over their last 25 games, they’ve taken an average of 4.3 penalties per game.
Calgary should have ample opportunity to score with the man advantage tonight, and I like these two players to get involved in that mix.
Our second bet of the day is taking over 5.5 goals between the Vancouver Canucks and Vegas Golden Knights, with odds sitting at -115.
The public is pretty split on this game, which a slight lean to the over, which I like here. These teams on the season haven’t been kind to over bettors, with the Canucks, 37-33-4, returning even money and the Golden Knights, 34-39-1, returning -9.55 units. Even in their last 10, Vancouver is 1-8-1 to it returning -8.05 units, and Vegas is 3-7 returning -5.1 units.
Those numbers are bound to break at some point, so why not tonight?
