Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!

Our first bet of the day is on Wyatt Johnston to take over 3.5 shots on goal, with odds at +105.

Johnston’s shot prop has been bumped up from 2.5 to 3.5, and rightly so. He’s been electric for the Stars, scoring three goals and six points, taking 21 shots in five games. He’s cashed the 2.5 line in four of five games, and the 3.5 line in two of five, falling short of it in two.

The Stars have the Golden Knights on the ropes tonight winning three straight games, and I expect Johnston to be involved in this game in a big way.

Our second bet of the day is on Matt Duchene to take over 1.5 shots on goal, with odds at -167.

Duchene hasn’t had a flashy series so far, but what he has done is cash this prop in three straight games, all of which Dallas won. It’s a low number on a night where I expect the Stars to roll, and this is a prop he cashed in 53 of 80 games this season (66.5 percent).

Our third bet of the day is taking the Nashville Predators on the money line, with odds at -120.

I like the Predators to force a Game 7 against the Canucks. It’s been a strange series here, to say the least, but strong performances from Nashville in Games 4 and 5 have me feeling good about where they’re at tonight. The Canucks are evidently banged up, with star centre Elias Pettersson looking like a shell of himself in this series.
