Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day will be taking Nik Ehlers to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +140.
This is a spicy one tonight. Ehlers himself has cashed this prop in just three of nine games this season, but has done it in three straight. His shots on goal per hour rate at 5v5 is second among all forwards on this slate, and he and his linemates on the Jets’ second line have a good matchup against the Golden Knights.
He’s cashed this prop in five of 11 games against Vegas in his career, and in three of his last six games. There’s some definite risk here, but I like this spot.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Ilya Mikheyev to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +120.
Plus money for this prop? Count me in. Mikheyev has had a strong start to his season with two goals and four points in five games, while taking 15 shots on goal. He’s cashed this prop in three of five games, and his Vancouver Canucks have a reat matchup against the lowly San Jose Sharks. On top of that, he has cashed the over on this prop in two of four career games against San Jose.
He and his linemates on the Vancouver Canucks’ top line have one of the best matchups on the entire slate, according to Daily Faceoff’s DFS charts, so I love this spot tonight.
Our third bet of the day will be taking Jack Roslovic to score a goal. These odds sit at +275, and will be a half unit play.
Roslovic and the Blue Jackets’ top line have a great matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight, ranking as the ninth best offensive line on the slate. Roslovic himself is due to find the back of the net, as his 1.3 5v5 individual expected goals per hour are well about his actual rate of 0.6. This one is worth a sprinkle tonight.
