The 2019 NHL Draft kicks off tonight in Vancouver and Dustin Nielson joined the folks at Yahoo! Sports to preview the weekend from an Oilers perspective. With the Oilers having the 8th overall pick, the team is sure to select a fine player, but what else do they need to get done?
Looking at the Oilers roster and where they finished in the standings, it’s clear that there are plenty of needs for this team as they enter draft weekend but we don’t know how much of that to-do list will get done. With the sizeable chunk of work on Ken Holland’s plate in mind, Dustin Nielson joined Yahoo! Sports to talk about what absolutely needs to happen at the draft and what will likely occur in the coming months.
