So Holloway did not finish the period. This was his last shift. I will not Zapruder film this, but it looks like he grabs his shoulder.

Dylan Holloway will miss “about a month” after suffering injury playing in the AHL

Dylan Holloway’s trip to the American Hockey League has come to an abrupt end.
According to Jason Gregor, Holloway will miss “about a month” after suffering an injury while playing for the Bakersfield Condors over the weekend.
Here’s a clip courtesy of Bruce Curlock that shows Holloway’s last shift of the team’s game against the Coachella Valley Firebirds on Saturday. He was hit hard into the boards by a Firebirds defender and skated off the ice favouring his shoulder…
Holloway cracked the Oilers’ roster out of training camp and has scored three goals and nine points with the team over 51 games this season. He was sent down to the Condors along with defenceman Vincent Desharnais last week in order for the Oilers to have the salary cap room to activate Kailer Yamamoto from the Long-Term Injured Reserve.
This is an especially unfortunate blow for Holloway considering a good chunk of his first season at the professional level in 2021-22 was also derailed because of an injury. Holloway suffered a wrist injury while playing in the playoffs for the Wisconsin Badgers in the spring of 2021. He wound up having to undergo two different surgeries to fix the issue and didn’t make his debut with the Condors until January of 2022.
