The @Edmonon Oilers will be without @Kailer Yamamoto for some time as the shifty forward is week-to-week with an ankle injury.
The injury was suffered Sunday night when Yamamoto got his leg caught underneath him against the LA Kings. The club has recalled @Markus Granlund from the Bakersfield Condors.
Yamamoto has been a great addition to the Oilers lineup after being recalled from the Bakersfield Condors on Dec. 29. The 5’8, 153 lb. right-winger has scored nine goals and 21 points in 21 games this year.
He’s found a home on the Oilers second line, effectively dubbed the DRY line, alongside @Leon Draisaitl and @Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
Granlund has been up and down with the big club this year appearing in 32 games with the Oilers scoring three goals and one assist. With the Bakersfield Condors, he’s scored six goals and nine assists in 17 games.
