<p>The Edmonton Oilers have placed forward Devin Shore on waivers for purpose of assignment to the AHL&#8217;s Bakersfield Condors.</p>

<p>Shore, 28, joined the Oilers ahead of the 2020-21 season on a two-year, $850,000 deal. He appeared in 38 games throughout the year scoring five goals and nine points. He also drew in for two playoff games notching one assist.</p>
<p>Brad Malone, who was waived Saturday, cleared.</p>

<p>According to <em>PuckPedia,</em> Brad Malone will be on the Oilers&#8217; opening-day roster and the team is expected to be $7,116,835 over the cap. It puts the Oilers $165 away from the max potential LTIR space.</p>
<p>This accounts for Oscar Klefbom, Mike Smith and Tyler Benson all being placed on the LTIR.</p>
