Edmonton Oilers prospect Stuart Skinner named AHL goalie of the month

Bakersfield Condors goaltender Stuart Skinner has been named the AHL’s goaltender of the month.
Skinner was red hot posting a 7-2-0 record, a .926 save percentage and a 1.93 goals against average. The native of Edmonton capped off the month with a season-high 33 saves against the Henderson Silver Knights last week in a 6-2 win. Over the nine games, Skinner only allowed 16 goals.
Over the course of the season he rans first in wins (17) and minutes played (1,506), and ranks seventh in goals against average and save percentage.
