I can’t even begin to tell you how badly the Oilers needed last night’s win over the New Jersey Devils. Not only did the boys snap their losing streak, but they found a way to make it happen even though things didn’t exactly go all that smoothly. There were bumps in the road, challenges, lead changes, and all of the other ingredients you’d expect in a heartbreaking loss, but the Oilers found a way to collect two points. Looking ahead to tonight’s matchup with the Rangers, the Oilers will need to muster that same level of urgency to keep a very strong New York team at bay. The Rangers shut the Oilers out in their first meeting of the season as we know, and now I’ll be looking for the boys to repay the favour tonight at Madison Square Garden.

That’s more like it! Not only did the Oilers find a way to win a game that looked like it was slipping away from them, but I also cashed in on 3/4 bets to take home a tidy little profit.
