<p>Seeing as the Oilers are sitting in second to last place in the Pacific Division, the Anaheim Ducks are a team we&#8217;re obviously chasing and that makes today&#8217;s matchup on the boys have to win. As much as we can talk about this being only <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2023/11/26/g20-game-notes-edmonton-oilers-host-struggling-anaheim-ducks/">the 20th game of the year</a>, time will run out before we know it, and these divisional matchups are ones the Oilers have to win. Unfortunately, we don&#8217;t have a whole lot of time for excuses anymore, and the only acceptable result I can see is for Edmonton to extend the Ducks&#8217; losing streak to six games. We cannot be slump busters here, and we cannot assume that beating this team will be easy. So, what does that mean for my game day bets? Cautious optimism is the approach. Frankly, it&#8217;s the only plan that makes sense to me given the inconsistencies from night to night, ya know?</p>
