<p>The Oilers just need to keep doing what they are doing. They aren&#8217;t perfect. They won&#8217;t dominate every game. They would like to avoid performances like they had in Dallas, but even good teams will have off nights. It is more important how they respond after a bad game. In the playoffs, you need to avoid slumps. In the last decade only one Stanley Cup winner, Colorado in 2022, lost fewer than six games. Seven of them lost between 7-10 games. There will be losses along the way, and if the Oilers can rebound from a loss in the playoffs like they have the past few months, they should have a long playoff run.</p>
<p>These final five games will be about staying the course. These players believe they can win, and they should. They have the all the necessary ingredients and playoff success will be about playing up to those capabilities.</p>

I won&#8217;t be surprised to see Ceci in tomorrow against Vancouver. Connor McDavid did skate today, but he won&#8217;t play tonight. He listed himself as day-to-day and will decide tomorrow if he plays v. the Canucks. He pushed himself pretty hard today and was on the ice for close to an hour. He is also confident this injury won&#8217;t linger. He plans on taking all the time he needs before returning, but did say he hates sitting out.</p>
