Inside the Nation: Line combinations, angry Oilers fans, and the Boston Bruins

Oct 11, 2018, 16:57 EDTUpdated: Oct 11, 2018, 16:58 EDT
Welcome, Citizens, to the Thursday edition of Inside the Nation! It’s the Facebook Live show where Dustin Nielson looks at all things Edmonton Oilers, and answers your questions about what the hell is going on here. In today’s episode, Dusty looks at tonight’s matchup against the Boston Bruins, line combinations, and all of the Oilers-related controversy that’s been happening this week.
With the Oilers finally getting the chance to play their second game of the season, the Nation is already angry after watching the Oilers get pumped by the Devils in their season opener and Dusty tries to make sense of it all. Line combinations are getting critiqued, the decision to stay out east rather than coming home is under question, and Todd McLellan is under fire for lumping unnecessary pressure on his players so early in the year. Is it an approach that makes sense? With the dumpster fire analyzed and dissected, Dusty previews the Oilers against the Bruins and gives his thoughts on what to expect from tonight’s game.
