McDavid invited to little Alex’s 10th birthday party

Prepare your emotions, everybody, because you’re about to read the most adorable letter to a hockey player that has ever reached the interwebs.
Dear Connor McDavid, can you come to my birthday party. I will be turning ten on July 6 11:00 am – 5pm the next day. You don’t have to sleep over. I saw the video of when the teenagers were being rude to you when you were trying to leave the restaurant with your parents. So your invited to my birthday party. We will be having a street hockey game so you might want to bring Darnell Nurse for defense and a tough guy like Zack Kassian or Jujhar Khaira if you need any more details here’s my number for my house. From, Alex.
This is pretty much the cutest thing I’ve ever read. Little Alex here felt so bad for Connor after he was getting beaked by some losers outside of a restaurant that he went ahead and invited him to his tenth birthday party. This story was aired on Sportsnet a couple days ago and I can only assume the drop-dead date for the RSVP falls around the end of June. Connor HAS to attend this party, right?
Also, I love that Alex told Connor to bring Nurse and Kassian along with him. You never know when you’ll need a couple of tough guys by your side when you’re playing some street hockey. Also, I’m sure that if anyone is stupid enough to beak Connor in public again they will be dealt with by not only Nurse and Kassian but Alex as well.
Whether Connor can make it or not, I’m going to spend the rest of the week trying to get Wanye’s permission to load us up in the NationVan and bring us to Alex’s party. This sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity and I NEVER miss a good ol’ street hockey game.
