Nation Talks: Vegas or Washington?

In an effort to have you welcome us into your lives and minds more, we bring you another in our continuing series of Nation Talks. A ten-minute, round (rectangle?!?!)-table discussion about the topics of the moment, things on our minds and just about anything else we can possibly talk about.
What’s happening in the NHL this week? Uhhhhh… Not much. Just an expansion team playing the Alex Ovechkin-led perennial chokers in the Stanley Cup Final. Yes, that’s correct. The Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights will square off in the Final starting tonight and it still feels really, really weird to say out loud.
We talk about who’s going to win the Stanley Cup (everyone says Vegas except for Chris, who really believes in Washington finally getting it done) and who’s going to win the Conn Smythe. We also spout off on whether this is the greatest story in sports history. (Spoiler: Dan thinks it is, but then I remind him about the absolutely incredible story of the Jamaican Bobsled team.)

Who do you think is going to win? Who are you cheering for? Do you care about the outcome at all??? Let us know!
