The Bets of the Day is brought to you by NHL betting site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Brent Burns to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -118.
Burns is a volume machine from the backend leading the Carolina Hurricanes in shots on goal. He’s taken 73 in 19 games — 3.84 per game — and has no signs of slowing down.
He’s hit this prop in three of his last five games, and in 12 of 19 games on the year.
The Hurricanes take on the Arizona Coyotes tonight, a team giving up 35.16 shots per hour in their last five games, the third-worst rate in the league.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Jason Robertson to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -134.
Much like with Burns, Robertson’s a volume machine taking 77 shots in 19 games averaging 4.05 per game. He’s also hit this prop in 12 games this season and comes into tonight’s game hitting it in four of his last five games.
The Stars take on the Chicago Blackhawks tonight who have been giving up 34.16 shots per 60 in their last five games, the fifth-worst rate in the league.
Record: 47-29 (+19.88u)
