The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our lone bet of the day will be taking Kyle Connor and Jack Hughes to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +176.
I love this spot tonight for Connor. He’s had a strong playoffs so far with two goals and three points in four games while taking 24 shots on goal over that time. He’s hit this prop in three games so far, and fell one shot of the prop in the other game.
It’s do-or-die time for the Jets and Connor tonight, so I’d expect him to come out firing on all cylinders.
Hughes, meanwhile, has done similar with three points — all goals — and 20 shots on goal through four games. He’s hit the over on this shot prop in three of four games, also falling one shot short in the other.
The Devils have had a nice comeback in their first-round series against the New York Rangers and Hughes has helped lead that charge. Look for another big night from him tonight.
