The Bets of the Day is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our lone bet of the day will be taking the Tage Thompson to take over 3.5 SOG. These odds sit at -163.
Beyond a good matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers, I like this spot for Thompson. He’s averaging 4.38 shots on goal per game this year, but has hit this prop in just two of his last five. Those two games were his most recent two, so the trend could buck back upwards for him.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Zach Hyman to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -105.
Zach Hyman has had a tremendous first half of the season scoring 44 points in 40 games while averaging 3.93 shots on goal per game. He, like Thompson, has cashed this prop in his most recent two of his last five, and while the LA Kings are one of the better shot suppression teams in the league, Hyman has cashed this prop multiple times against some of the better defensive teams in the league.
