The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our lone bet of the day will be taking Connor McDavid to score 2+ goals. These odds sit at +400.
Connor McDavid is just two goals short of hitting the 60-goal mark for the first time in his career and has a great matchup to do so tonight.
The San Jose Sharks, over their last five games, have given up 4.11 goals against per hour, the fifth worst rate in the league, and over their last 10 have given up 4.54, the third worst rate in the league. They’re very clearly in a full-on tank for Connor Bedard, so there’s no reason the Oilers shouldn’t be able to roll the Sharks tonight.
McDavid’s scoring at a career pace this season already finding twine 58 times in 70 games. His current goal-per-game pace has him on pace for 68 goals this season, a mark that hasn’t been hit since 1995-96, when Mario Lemieux scored 69.
