Our lone bet of the day will be taking Evan Bouchard to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +100.

I really like this spot for Bouchard tonight, a player who I think is about to have another big series. He was a focal point of the Oilers’ offence in the first round of the playoffs leading all defencemen in scoring with 10 points. As my colleague Bruce Curlock detailed yesterday in his tactics preview post, there’s a good chance we could see some Oilers defencemen activating in this series against the Golden Knights.

In two matchups against Vegas late in the season after Bouchard’s role was elevated, he cashed the over on this prop in both games with three shots on goal. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least to see him continue that production tonight and through this series.
