I really like this spot for Bouchard tonight, a player who I think is about to have another big series. He was a focal point of the Oilers&#8217; offence in the first round of the playoffs leading all defencemen in scoring with 10 points. As my colleague <a href="https://oilersnation.com/2023/05/02/the-edmonton-oilers-v-the-vegas-golden-knights-a-tactical-preview/">Bruce Curlock detailed yesterday in his tactics preview post</a>, there&#8217;s a good chance we could see some Oilers defencemen activating in this series against the Golden Knights.
In two matchups against Vegas late in the season after Bouchard&#8217;s role was elevated, he cashed the over on this prop in both games with three shots on goal. It wouldn&#8217;t surprise me in the least to see him continue that production tonight and through this series.
