The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking the Vegas Golden Knights to win in regulation. These odds sit at -115.
Tonight we’re backing the Vegas Golden Knights to close this game out at home in regulation. There’s only been one overtime game in the Stanley Cup Finals and it came in game three which Flordia won 2-1 at home.
Beyond that, this series has been all Golden Knights who have been all gas, no brakes outscoring Florida 17-9 in this series. It’s up in the air whether or not Matthew Tkachuk will play in game five after he was banged up in game three. He was hit hard by Keegan Kolesar that had Tkachuk looking shaken up through the rest of that game, and into game four.
Needless to say, that would be a huge loss for the Panthers as they claw to stay alive and it’s part of the reason we’re backing Vegas here tonight to close this one out in regulation. The Golden Knights are big favourites at -200 on the moneyline, so I like getting a bit better odds this way.
